James Ziegler
Senior Director Investments
James joined Marcus & Millichap in February 2006 and founded the Ziegler Team in 2012, building it around collaboration and mentoring new agents. He and his team focus on selling multifamily and mixed-use properties throughout Chicagoland, and he knows the city's neighborhoods block by block. He is known for his work ethic, for closing difficult transactions and for long relationships with his clients, and he has received multiple national sales achievement awards.
James is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He's also an apartment owner himself, so he underwrites every building the way an investor would. Outside of work he travels, follows Chicago sports and spends as much time on the water as he can.
Tyler Preissing
Associate Investments
Tyler is an investment sales broker specializing in multifamily and mixed-use properties on Chicago's northwest side. He brings a finance background and close knowledge of the local market to every owner he advises.
Raised in Mount Prospect, Tyler earned his finance degree at Aurora University, where he also played on the baseball team. Away from work he golfs, works out, follows sports and spends time with family and friends.
